I offer the students of SPSU teaching experience from both industry and higher learning environments. I have taught across the English curriculum at Southern Polytechnic State University, Kennesaw State University, and ChattahoocheeTechnicalCollege. With over twenty years of industry experience at public companies, I bring business perspective to the classroom from companies such as Lockheed-Martin, Georgia Pacific, The Home Depot, and The John Harland Company. Positions I have held with these companies include: Managing Editor of Internal Publications/External Affairs, Senior Editor Training Publications, Writer, and Corporate Trainer/Recruiter. I have edited and published an employee newspaper and marketing magazines with circulation of over 20,000. I have written and edited numerous employee training materials, as well as marketing, employment, and legal documents. While at Lockheed-Martin, I developed materials and coordinated training for a DOD Ethics program at the Marietta facility for 18,000 employees. I have conducted corporate training classes in sales and production management. I hold degrees from Emory University and Kennesaw State University.
