Dr. Kamran Moghaddam is an assistant professor of systems engineering in Department of Systems and Mechanical
Engineering. He received his BS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Tehran,
MS in Industrial Engineering from Tehran Polytechnic and his PhD in Industrial Engineering
from the University of Louisville.
Over the past 12 years, Dr. Moghaddam has been involved in work and research in the field of industrial and systems engineering in a wide variety of applications such as multi-reservoir systems operations management, transportation and logistics systems, optimal maintenance scheduling, and in development of a decision support system for healthcare and public health protection. His research interests are in logistics and transportation, healthcare systems engineering, and maintenance optimization.
Dr. Moghaddam is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Kentucky and a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) by American Society for Quality.
