Dr. Kamran Moghaddam is an assistant professor of systems engineering in the Department of Systems and Mechanical Engineering. He received his BS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Tehran, MS in Industrial Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and his PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Louisville.
Over the past 12 years, Dr. Moghaddam has been active in the field of industrial and systems engineering in academic and industry environments. He has conducted or been involved in different projects such as multi-reservoir systems operations management, transportation and logistics systems design and improvement, optimal maintenance scheduling for manufacturing systems, and development of a decision support system for healthcare and public health protection. His research interests are in sourcing in supply chain management, healthcare operations management, and maintenance and replacement optimization.
Dr. Moghaddam is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Kentucky and a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) by American Society for Quality.
