In Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) we are using Advanced Manufacturing Technologies to solve tomorrow's challenges today. We provide you with the skills necessary to deliver engineering solutions through the application of 3D scanning, additive manufacturing, CAD, CAD/CAM, and multi-axis machining. These are the skills employers are looking for and what sets you apart in the market.
Traditional manufacturing processes are the foundation of the MET program that lead up to the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies. You will gain hands on experience with welding and machining. You will learn to write Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programs by hand so when you use CAD/CAM and the code doesn't work correctly you can provide the troubleshooting necessary to solve real world industrial problems.
